If you're trying to join / register its highly recommend you view the FULL VERSION of the website. DO NOT USE THE MOBILE VERSION.
Simply registering on our site does not make you a member! EVERYONE must fill out an application (click 'apply' at the top of the page). Every application is reviewed by our community - this is done with the best intentions to keep our community jerk free. Regardless of the outcome you will receive an answer within 72 hours of submission.
If you just registered an account and you were brought here proceed to step one below.
If you were brought here after clicking the e-mail validation link proceed to step two below. If you just filled out the application proceed to step three below.
1) Once you've registered an account you will receive an automated email with a link to validate your email address. Click that link. If you did not receive said email CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER. If after 10 minutes and you still don't see the email try proceeding to step 2. If you're still having trouble THEN contact us for help. Be sure to include the username and email address you registered with.
2) If you've just completed step 1 you should now see a box below stating 'Your registration has been successful.' You now need to sign in, then click 'Apply' at the top of the page or click HERE and fill out an application. Pay attention to the required fields, being certain to scroll all the way down on each and every page, and finally click 'Submit Application' at the bottom once you're done. If successful you will see an outline of your application with green check marks. Now all you do is wait.
Assuming you filled out the application (separate process than registering) You can check the status here https://www.over30clan.com/forum/26-applications/ if you don't see your application under that link then it WAS NOT created / submitted correctly. Go back to STEP TWO. If there was an issue (you missed a required field or one of your answers was too short / long, or you forgot to check the terms of service box) the system will explicitly tell you what the issue was - READ IT and be sure to scroll to the bottom of every page to ensure something wasn't missed. If you click BACK to fix your application you MUST re-add the title (this gets blanked out when backing up to edit). Always scroll down and view the entire page to make sure something wasn't missed.
TLDR (too long didn't read) video version of the instructions
Still need help?
I realize the process isn't as simple as one click and done. We are working on improving the application process in the near future. However, if you just take the time to read and follow the instructions you'll make it thru. If all else fails contact us for help
Who We Are: We are more than a clan, we're a community, a brotherhood, and more importantly a family. The Over 30 Clan was founded in 2010 by The1UrLookin4. In early 2014 the reigns were handed over to BlackDeath who now owns and operates the community as a 501c non profit. To put it simply the Over 30 Clan is an online community for adults 30+ years old to share interests and play video games together. As we start 2018 we have over 1400 registered members. Our ranks include all walks of life including single folks, moms, dads, veterans, you name it. All of whom are looking for a place to blow off some steam. We are a diverse community with members spanning the globe who game on various consoles / platforms (Xbox, Playstation, and even PC players). We have some REALLY talented gamers but that is NOT a requirement to join! Whether you want to have a few drinks and play casual or you're determined to melt faces we have something for everyone.
What We Do: PTFO (Play The F@#%ing Objective). This is our clan motto. Have you ever rage quit over some clueless random(s) on your team? Do you typically mute your mic and/or turn off in game chat because the lobby sounds like the halls of a middle school? Well then the Over 30 Clan is for you! We focus on objective play, communication, team work, and most importantly having fun! We've made up silly challenges like riot shield and rocket launchers or tomahawk only classes, all while playing the objective and winning....often! We play, some of us drink / smoke, but we have fun!
What We Play: The most popular game series we've been known to play: Call of Duty, Destiny, and Battlefield. This isn't to say that's all we play - just about everyone will take a break and try something new and different from time to time. In the past we've had events for GTA V, Forza, and even online Poker nights. Chances are if you post about a game you want to play on our forum you'll get some folks to join you.
Accolades / Accomplishments: We were at one time ranked the #1 Heavyweight clan for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Domination game mode! We've also scrimmaged against some famous teams including players like oTrademark, Wickedscrapnel, and PWNSTARS. We're also a featured community on the Overdog app which you can find on the Xbox One store.
How do I join? 1) Be 30+ years old (In RARE instances we have made exceptions - this is why every applicant must be voted in by the community. If you don't make the cut please don't take it personal).
2) Register for an account
2) APPLY (must complete step 2, be logged in, click 'Apply' at the top of the page then scroll down to view the application questions ***an application is REQUIRED to become a member***
In order to become a part of the Over 30 Clan you must register an account on our forum (email validation required / CHECK YOUR SPAM). Once registered we require that you fill out a short application by clicking the Apply tab at the top. Complete step by step instructions can be found HERE (be sure to scroll down after following that link). The application process is a quick and easy way for everyone to get acquainted. Applications are typically processed within 24 to 48 hours. Until you are approved you'll have limited access to the site. If you're still in a "Validating" state you can post questions, comments, and concerns in the guest forum HERE.
If all else fails here's a step by step video on how to join.
I've been in the clan now a little over a year, so I feel like I'm finally no longer a FNG and can offer this public service announcement. Over the past year, I've seen a lot of people join the clan, and I've sent friend requests to almost everyone who has a console and gaming profile that match mine. I've ended up gaming with some of them, but sadly not others. In some cases, schedules just don't match up. In others, game interests change, or people just tend to run in other groups. All of that is fine and expected.
I've also noticed that there are a lot of people who join the clan but don't appear to actually be gaming with anyone else whenever I see them online. That situation concerns me, because if you join a gaming group, you obviously want to be gaming with people. I try sometimes to invite FNGs that happen to be playing the same thing as me (because you don't know many clan members to start out with), and I know others reach out like that as well, but we can only do so much.
My charge to new FNGs is this: if you joined this clan to play with people, you HAVE to take the initiative. We're all grown adults, and should be capable of doing this. If there is an open party chat with o30c's in it, and they are playing something you're playing (or even something else), go in the party and introduce yourself. Hang around there and listen. Make awkward conversation and feel weird about being the new person. After you do that a couple of times, people will start recognizing you and invite you when you are on. Everything becomes easier after that. But really, YOU have to take that first step. The worst thing that happens is you don't get along with those particular o30c's and you try a different group. The clan is large, and there are many opportunities to find your niche.
I'm not trying to preach here, just trying to make sure everyone gets what they want out of joining this clan. Don't be too shy, we're (almost) all nice people
This community is here for some very specific reasons...like grown adults being tired of shit head teenage behavior and our need to PTFO. With that said I'm far from prudish and I'm not going to write your name on the chalkboard for swearing so to speak. However what I expect AT ALL TIMES is for you to respect your fellow clanmates and to act like adults! I know we laugh, we joke, we talk shit (in jest), and most all the time everyone gets along. However OGs you need to remember this culture we built is new to FNGs. Some folks are pretty thick skinned and some folks on rare occasions may over step these freedoms we've come to enjoy. FNGs don't think our culture here allows you to say or act however you want.
UNDER NO CIRCUMCSTANCE should any Over 30 Clan member use ANY type of slur! You can get pissed off you can swear like a sailor but the very reason this community exists is because the rest of us got tired of hearing ni%%er and fa%%ot repeatedly in lobbies. Please remember who you may be talking to on the other side of the mic (a child). Don't say something that you wouldn't said to your own child or family member. THIS GOES FOR YOUR FRIENDS TOO! If you invite a friend to an Over 30 Clan party chat you are responsible for that person and they should hold the same standards as us (regardless of how low that may be). Why? Because as a collective whole that party represents this clan and I won't have it misrepresented or tarnished. If you want to play with your friends that's fine but if they want to play with us they need to be able to act somewhat like adults.
At ANY time if you experience anything blatantly disrespectful you contact ME and I will do my best to discretely resolve the situation.
So I'm going to make this very simple. Respect this community and all in it. If you can't do that, expect to get booted out on your ass! If you have a beef with someone air it out, apologize, do whatever the fuck you need to do and put it to rest! Life is way too short to dwell on petty bullshit. Come here to play games, laugh, have fun, PTFO or GTFO its that simple!
Our story picks up in the land of Cenobia a small quite coastal land ruled by a Newfie, tazlittleking and his ClumZy sidekick Sr Slampiece. Slam is retodd3d and wears armour all the time even in present day Cenobia. Unfortunately he cant control his bad habit of Spray Fartin, the invisible odour wafts up to his helmet and into his Naven passages. This Aggro vates him to no end. Not only is the smell as bad as deadmyt but the constant Maynard duck sound gives him away every time. A pariah most of the time his only relief is to call in pogotheklown. Quite the Jokester who is skilled at jahmusik, the art of making the whistlingmick sound by clenching his mouth tightly together and forcing air through both his teeth and lips. With everyone laughing and dancing around the smell gets dispersed and any remaining odour is simply attributed to the terrible cooking of Chef Fidget and his rank Meat Ballsagna or side of friedferretfeet. In the CALAMiTY no one noticed Jack's Broken Heart, a result it seems of Jimmythegreeb who was brninitdwn with parabola on the dance floor. A BIGnSOFT woman ready to Walldoggy and let anyone G3TZUM for the right price. All this Unleashed_Ev1l can be yours if you have the MoneyMan. This popular form of activity was latter developed into a game called Nukelacoog a favourite at the Patriot Games where contestants also known as BoneyVermin would stand at a line and drop their charlesdanni jeans down to their IronKneebone, bend over and reach behind and insert their thumb upon which you could hear many of them uttering the words "Oh Nely". At the sound of a Dizzle with their pants down and maintaining this bent over position they race to the finish line like an IndyRatPack. Of course all participants at the end of the race are given a bottle of kamea6 lotion called ET3RNAL_S1NZ to help reduce the SwollenCamel look and are automatically given membership into the Nalasedai order of NightRiders. After the race there's a ceremonial flyby by two Migs one piloted by CaptUnd3rpantzz and the other by Maverick -- whoah didn't see that coming. These planes are not armed with any Misslers and under any hostilities would have Z3roeffect. Theres a tavern in town called A Nobel BlackDeath which sells Gunz N Beer. A sign hanging over the entrance shows a RED ARROW peircing the heart of a bluehound. If your a Vidzjunkie you can watch sports on a big screen TV and see the BLACKHAWXX play against the FightingOkra or watch the reality show called Turrets starring Uncle_Twitchy. The owner MrRalphee serves a drink2remember and in order to keep up with the demand and Bee_Swarm of activity he has three men on JAGERpatrol all the time, Mr Goodkat, MikeyB and Obi Don S. Cenobia sits on a beautiful estuary with crystalblue water. At the mouth is a riverboat casino covered in wonicles named the AmyMina guarded by a TydenWolf. A lap dog really that wants to be a Criptic Wolf when he grows up. If cards are your game then this is the place for you. Pull up a chair, pay your fee and get Pokerchipped. Theres always a good game of TripleAce Andy going on for you to show off your skills with a SouthPawDraw. Remember though that a KatzBurglar is always watching looking for Winners.

After having my XBOne for a week now and playing it pretty exclusively, it's time to post my thoughts on the systems. I'll be doing this point by point, and remember, these are my opinions. Both are great systems and I'd be happy with either if I had to keep just one.
Format: Catergory - Winner
Graphics - PS4
The PS4 looks better, and it's a pretty big difference. Ghosts on PS4 looks markedly better than Ghosts on the Xbox One. The PS4 outputs at 1080p natively, while the X1 outputs at 720p. They're both HD, but the PS4 looks crisper, the textures look better, and the game runs smoother without the slowdown I occasionally get on the X1. Here's a link to compare the resolutions each system is putting out - http://www.ign.com/w..._and_Framerates
Controller - PS4
This one is probably the most subjective out of all the categories, but the PS4 controller wins by a large margin for me. Since I play using the claw grip, the ability to use the L1 and R1 bumpers instead of the triggers is a MASSIVE advantage for the PS4. The sticks have more resistance on the PS4 as well. The X1 sticks feel extremely loose, and even though I play with a lower sensitivity on it I still find myself overaiming often. I'm also constantly accidentally hitting the trigger on the X1 since it's EXTREMELY sensitive. After a couple hours of X1 gaming, my hands start to hurt, whereas on the PS4, I can get 3-4 hours in before the inevitable hand pain comes. The only downside the PS4 controller has is that the thumbsticks don't have a lot of grip. I'm constantly wiping my thumbs and the sticks themselves down to avoid slipping off of them.
Connections - XB1
The connections on the X1 seem better. I don't feel like I'm behind everyone else nearly as often on the XB1. When you're partied with people spread across the country, the X1 is playable. The PS4 really starts to suffer when everyone is spread out.
Homescreen - XB1
The PS4 homescreen is a monument to simplicity. After getting used to the menus, it's very easy to get where you want, and you can do it quickly. It also switches from game to homescreen and back very fast. The XB1's homescreen is more customizable, and the kinect voice commands are amazing. I never thought I'd like the Kinect, or use it, but I couldn't live without it now when I play my XB1. Instead of hitting the PS button, hitting up on the controller, and going over to party like you have to do on the PS4, you can simply say "Xbox Snap Party". When you're done with what you needed to do, simply say "Xbox Unsnap". Very very cool feature.
Party system - PS4
While the XB1 has the voice commands, the PS4 party system is leaps ahead right now. Half the time that I try to invite someone to join me on Ghosts, the XB1 sends them a party invite instead. This can get very frustrating. Sometimes you don't want to party up, but you want to game with someone, and the XB1 makes that very difficult. It will even send someone party invites instead of game invites after you're already partied up with them. XB1 is releasing a patch before Titanfall comes out that is supposed to improve party functionality, so this may change when that happens. Hopefully if fixes the issue with party chat defaulting to off when you join a party. You have to go into the party screen and manually turn on party chat. Strange.
Streaming/recording gameplay - XB1
I had to buy an HDMI splitter in order to use my Elgato Game Capture HD with my PS4. Sony has stated there will be a patch that removes HDCP while playing games, but there's no time frame for it. The XB1 worked right out of the box with no extra equipment needed.
Apps - XB1
The XB1 wins this category quite easily. It has a large amount of apps available, covering a variety of interests. The PS4's app selection pales in comparison.
Miscellaneous - My first XBOne died on me. The Kinect wouldn't power on or be recognized by the system, and then the system wouldn't accept any input from the controller. I understand that with anything mass produced some bad units will slip through the cracks, so I'm not counting this against the XB1. It was just annoying.
Overall - PS4
If I absolutely had to get rid of one of my systems, I'd keep the PS4, but this might change once Titanfall is released. I use my systems for gaming, and we don't have a cable TV subscription, so the TV features of the XB1 are completely wasted on me. Since the PS4 is the better gaming system, it's the one I would keep. If I was a big TV watcher, or had kids, then I'd probably keep the XB1.
A lot of Destiny folks have been asking to do raids lately. Being new to the Destiny universe, I personally didn't know a lot of what was entailed in completing one. I had heard horror stories from multiple people about how hard it was to complete one, especially in a group of strangers, or with people who didn't know what they were doing.
This week, I teamed up with several o30s to work our way through the raid. It took 3 nights, maybe 12 hours total for us to figure out good strategies for each room, practice them, and finally complete them. Now that I've done a raid, I can say that everyone on the team needs to work VERY well together and perform their role flawlessly with a high probability, because it requires all 6 people being simultaneously (nearly) flawless to complete each room.
I'm writing here because after getting through this once I feel like I could help others get through as well by sharing strategies in the actual raid. I found that videos were sort of helpful, but it took actually being in the rooms playing to fully understand what to do.
So, I'd be happy to help others (esp. those who haven't done raids before at all) get some experience in pick-up raid sessions where we aren't playing super seriously to get through the raid, but instead just get familiarity with the rooms and maybe get through a couple of them. That way, you'd be able to break off into raid groups that would at least have a sense of what's going on, and be "raid ready". FYI, I'm on PS4.
Regarding raid readiness, I'd really like to avoid having disappointing raid sessions where people are under-leveled, under-skilled, or don't have a good attitude. I'd suggest that anyone attempting a raid meet the following requirements:
I feel like you probably need to be in the mid-270s, after vanguard drops (token trade-ins in the various zones) are no longer dropping gear you can use. I was around 283 when we did our raid, and I could comfortably stay alive, but all of us were in the 280s and 290s, so that could have been why. If you are in the 270s, you may have trouble unless there are higher level people to carry you a little. From our experience, it seemed that high rate of fire weapons like auto rifles were the most useful to have, since you had to kill lots of adds to keep from being overrun. Scout rifles did not have much utility. You'll sometimes run out of ammo on your primary, so having a good secondary weapon is important as well. Also, you'll want a heavy weapon that can do a lot of damage in a short time. The bosses have mechanics where you can only hit them for a brief window of time, and you need to be ready to unload quickly on them when that time comes. Merciless is great, or a good rocket launcher.
It takes a lot of skill to complete these raids, and you really should be ready for that. Good gear can compensate, but only so much. You should feel comfortable doing jumps onto narrow platforms, fighting off 5-6 red enemies around you, or 2-3 reds and a yellow/orange enemy without dying. Knowing when to run and when to stay and fight is very important. Everyone in a raid can only revive someone else one time, so having too many people die is problematic. There are also mechanics in each room that result in everyone instantly dying if you don't melee kill a particular enemy within a time window. You should feel comfortable doing something like that. If you are weak in one of these areas, you still might be okay. There are typically a couple of different roles in each room you can play, and they require different skill-sets. If you've gotten through a Nightfall, or at least maybe got to the boss with 5 minutes or so remaining, you are probably okay here I'm guessing.
I can't stress how important attitude was in the raid. People can't get too bristly, too discouraged, or too arrogant when there are repeated failures. You need to have some humility, realize that you have some things to learn, try to be patient with others, and have a generally positive outlook. You also need to be able to listen to instruction and be quiet during key portions of the rooms. Many of the strategies require people to call out certain things they see that others can't, and when you can't hear what people are saying it will lead to instant death.
If you feel like you meet the requirements above and want to get some raid experience, hit me up. I'm usually on PSN in the 10pm-1am time frame, eastern time US. Maybe some other o30s can offer up services as well below.

IMG_0146.JPG37.31KB9 downloadsAlright kids its that time of year again where the ferret has to go and defend freedom and democracy around the world. Im expecting you to be good while im gone and I will check in on you every once in a while to make sure things are going O.K. Im sorry I cant be with you but my country needs me so I must take heed.
There are a couple of things that I need you to do while Im gone. I know you want to "party hardy" with your friends and "get down with the get down" and "break loose with the furry moose" and have an ABC "anything but clothes" party and thats O.K as long as you make sure the list gets done. No excuses now, I now how you 30's like to slack off and wait till the last minute. Im trusting you to get these thing done so dont let me down.
*NEWFIE gets a little cranky if we dont get to play together everyday or everyother day so remind him that I am coming back shortly and we can play then. I will be sending him a picture of me and a article of clothing that smells like me so he doesnt get too upset.
*Make sure and open WINNERS/M I S S I L E R 's blinds and point his chair towards the light everyday or every other day to make sure that he doesnt get all pasty.
*DELTA and GOODSUCK sometimes have dissagreements "they bicker like two old ladies"so make sure and keep them separated as much as possible. Unless they ask to be together then make sure its supervised.
*Someone needs to write a letter to INFINITYWARD to let them know that FIXXEDINTHE HEAD has been playing their game for a long time and doesnt appreciate the fact that they nerfed the riot shield. "be aberrant!, I am mad about his too".
*RESOLUTE needs his diaper changed once a day.
* I think AGGRO has a rash, please keep an eye on it. "its all pussie" Oh and congratulate him on his 850th sniper kill."ghillie suit"
*SPRAY FARTIN will need some reassurance thats things will be fine after his third kid and for god's sake dont remind him that he can kiss all his manly dreams goodbye.
*SWOLLENCAMEL has not been playing much lately so can someone tempt him back with a salt lick or possibly a "backrub" or a "front rub".
*G3TZUM and DIZZLE should always be in the same cage. Together they make an unstoppable force.
*And for god's sake would somebody put EPICED out of his misery. I have been asking you kids to take him out and shoot him for how long meow?
And by far this is the most important thing to remember, DONT FEED SLAM AFTER MIDNIGHT OR GET WATER ON HIM!!!!!!!!!
Alright kiddies that will do it for now. I will be back in a few weeks and I expect all these things to be done by the time I get home. Dont dissapoint me now. I will have the neighbors come and check up every now and again.

I need some Destiny friends to do strikes and raids etc. I'm only a 26 but I'm pretty obsessed at the moment and play a lot. My name is LadyDesiree if you want to add me. Also, in the midst of my obsession, I recorded the Destiny Orbit theme as a piano arrangement on YouTube if you want to listen.
This is a long post and I fully expect a lot of tl;dr, but hey, don’t say I didn’t try to put down in writing the reasoning behind separate rosters. I think there is some misunderstanding on how the clan wars work and the difference between the Over 30 Clan (x30x) and the Ghost CW Clans (x30x CWC). Please don’t take this as patronizing, but I just want to make sure we’re all on the same page before we start arguing about something when we really may be on the same side.
What is the Over 30 Clan? The Over 30 Clan is this. Here. The forums. The group of 200-300 gamers on any of 4 console gaming systems (PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XB1). It’s not DSYN, it’s not Rebel Syndicate, it’s not Dark Syders. We game together, we hang out together. That’s us. For this post, I’ll refer to this clan as the x30x. Our original clan tag back in Black Ops days, before there was any Clan Roster on a CoD game.
What is a Clan War? It’s a separate meta game played on top of , and in conjunction with, regular multiplayer. When a clan war is happening, the x30x CWC are pitted against other CW clans of similar size to capture “targets”. How do you capture a target? By winning a certain number of multiplayer games in that game mode. Generally we’re talking about: TDM, Domination, KC, Blitz, Cranked, S&R, HC TDM, HC KC, HC Dom. Game modes change each clan war and it would be impossible to win by only playing one or two game types. BTW, participation in a CW is transparent to you. When you play multiplayer during a CW, your wins will count without you even knowing. You don’t have to do anything special for your wins to count during a Clan War.
How are Clan Wars scored? When a CW starts, every target is unoccupied. There is a number of wins needed to capture the target and get the corresponding Clan Points (CP). So, for instance, we need 30 wins to get TDM and the first CWC to get to 30 gets the CP. Once you get to 30, you have a defense that the other 7 clans in the CW need to knock down to zero before they can start counting towards taking it again. So if there are two clans vying for a target and one has it occupied, the second clan needs to win 30 games to knock the original clan off the target and then win ANOTHER 30 to capture it themselves. Multiply this by multiple clans vying for the same target and it turns into chaos. Also, the clan currently occupying the target can replenish their defense by winning games in that game type.
The best way to capture targets is for everyone to be playing the same game type and pushing towards the same target all at the same time. Whether it’s 6, 10, 20, 50 or 100 people. Everyone should be playing the same game type until the current occupier is knocked out and it is recaptured. That is the only way to get CP (and the most CP at the end of the war wins the Clan War). Then everyone moves to the next game type. So on and so forth.
Ok, so here’s the meat of the question. Should we have multiple x30x CWC or just one large CW roster? In my opinion, we should have multiple. Whether that’s 2,3 or 10, smaller is better. The main reason why I think so is that the targets are smaller with smaller CWCs. We have a roster of 22. The number of wins we need to capture the Domination target is 17. Same for Blitz, Cranked, S&R, etc. TDM is higher, but even then, only 34. With the original P1 roster of 80+ members, it was up to 100 or 150! Plus, with smaller numbers it’s easier to get everyone switching to different game modes so we hit the same target at the same time.
That said, another important aspect is to play together at the same time. If six people played Dom at different times, they would chip away at the defense one at a time. However, the current occupier would also have time to up their defense of the target too as they can see when their defense is lowered. However, if those 6 people were partied up, or at least playing at the same time, the defense would go down 6 at a time. This means after 3 wins, they would knock out the current target holder, and 3 wins after that, they would capture the target and get the CP.
So who decides who gets to be in what CW clan? Really it’s up to you to decide. With the current x30x CWC, Mikey posted something about wanting to make a dedicated CWC. I knew that the core group of about 10 people I played with also expressed some interest in doing so, so we made our own CWC. Who got to decide to make this CWC? We did. And that’s the beauty of the Clan System in Ghosts. Anyone can make a clan in the game. There is nothing stopping anyone else in the x30x from making another CWC.
Was it an arbitrary cut off at 22? Yes. But again, we limited it to people we play with on a normal, regular basis. Normal, regular basis. Let me say it again. Normal, regular basis. You may play from 6-10 Pacific and I might see you on every now and then, but if you don’t normally play with my group from 10-1am Pacific, then I’m sorry, but it makes no sense for me to include you in this CWC. We would rarely play together. There were also some new guys that we occasionally run with (and play with more and more now) that might have made it into the CWC, but I don’t have the history with them and I don’t know that I can count on them every night like I can the guys I brought into the CWC. So maybe later if we make other CWC, or in the next CoD.
But why don’t we just add more people, people that say that they will be dedicated to CW? Because then the number to win a target goes up correspondingly. Participation is never 100%, so the more people we add, the harder and harder it gets and then we are back at the original issue with winning with the original P1 CWC. I am sad that we couldn’t win with the original P1 clan, but that’s just how this metagame is set up. 20 people playing in a CWC of 22 has a much better chance of winning than 20 people playing in a CWC of 85. That’s the only reason why we capped the number. It wasn’t about excluding anyone on purpose or trying to leave people out. It was a numbers game and trying to find a good balance between inclusion and getting wins in different game types.
- Does that mean we left the x30x? NO.
- Does that mean we don’t accept friend requests or play with other clan members? NO.
- Did we only take Elite players, or expect you to be at “X” level or ability to be in it? NO. If you don’t believe me, please check our roster in the CoD app – o30c Clan War P1. We have a wide range of K/D and Win %. The only thing we have is that we all play together. A lot.
And really, that is the main criteria for a Ghosts CWC. Play together and play a lot. And, for the record, we do play with other clannies, even during this last clan war. So don’t think or assume that being in the roster means you don’t play with other x30x members. If anything, it makes partying up even more important because you need everyone on the same page to win the game and I’d rather run a split squad of CWC and x30x than half CWC and randoms.
[BTW, making a smaller roster is by no means a guarantee to win. While we won our Bronze level CW easily (since none of the other clans played or even scored), our Silver level CW is a different story. We’re in second place with 531 CP. The leader has 962 CP. They’ve got a bunch of guys that have played 20 days already. So yeah, they play a lot.]
So what does this all mean? A couple things:
1) If you don’t care about Clan Wars, or only want to play TDM or Dom (Or S&R or HC only), then this probably doesn’t apply to you. People in a CWC need to be able and willing to play different game modes for the good of the CWC.
2) If you care about Clan Wars, and want to be in a CWC, consider creating one with people you play with normally. If you run solo all the time, or only have one or two other clannies you play with, you need to start sending out FR and invites and playing with other people in the clan. Once you start seeing the same people on when you are on, and partying up with them, it makes sense to start thinking of a CWC. If you have a group of people you already play with regularly, then you can start your own x30x CWC. Take initiative!
On this note, I will mention that I get surprisingly few invites from new people that want to party up. If you want to be in the clan, if you want to play with others here, you need to send out friend requests and invites and get involved. Post on the forums so people can at least recognize your PSN. If we’re open, we generally back out to pick anyone up from the clan. We would even do Ground War if we could and have parties of 9, but we can’t do that on PS3 so we’re stuck with 6 in a party. But often times, someone will back out to let the new guy in.
So thanks for your time in reading this. I hope it sheds some light on what’s gone on. I’m sure people won’t agree with me, but I guess we can agree to disagree. If you want to leave the clan because of this, well that’s your decision. I don’t tell anyone what to do with their time, so best of luck. But I hope that the x30x ends up with a couple x30x CWC.

I was informed last night that we haven't seen much of Boney this clan war because he's studying for his Masters. After diiging deeper it turns out Boney is doing his Masters on Outdoor Angling and has been studying various baiting techniques from around the world. After studying hard and long he will be rewarded with a degree and be an official MastersBaiter.
I encourage you to study hard and often and may I suggest while holding your rod to use an alternating right-left technique accompanied with whistling or singing ( Its a Small World After All).
What up Over 30 Clan! Just wanted to say I'm sensing lots of negativity on the forums lately. I would like to offer you all a hug and/or a back rub. Maybe you would like to speak privately about some personal issues you are having. I am here for you...
